ok, i guess you could paint anything with this info ;D. just wanted to share this with everyone. i rented this video and it shows you how to paint your own car from start to finish and tells you all of the tricks the pro use. really worth the $10 if you want to paint anything yourself.

family dollar rattle can  [approve]       no  sand the hell out of it, use a surface prep, tack it, prime it,  sand it prep it tach it, lay your color (id use a enamel based paint, such as tractor paint cuz its cheap and shiny and u dont have to lay clear, make sure ur in a garage thats clean, swept floor, wet floor down with hose to keep dust down,  mask really good,  u want to make sure you overlap just right, and you want your spray pattern 5-6" wide and you want to be at least 6-8" away from your panel. painting came naturally for me, ive painted quite a few cars and trucks, base/clear with no problems...dont fret it. just make sure u have a good compressor with clean dry air, clean equipment, your paint mixed right, and keep your 6-8" away with the right size pattern and you should be rollin!!!
