I'm totally new to the 4x4 community, but not metal fabs, I had some ojt in the navy for welding stainless and aluminum.

on my free time I've been spending more time in these forums looking at the metal fabs and any link ya'll give us to surf. To me, a beginer, the information seems very good. I'm not taking the course like registered or enrolled, but I spent about three hours last night reading over the info, long enough my eyes hurt. The info on metal properties is similar to our metalurgy studies in the navy.
