“Frankenzuk” A Very Special Edition

Samurais' that is. Once you fix one thing then another breaks or comes apart. Tonight on the way home from work, I lost my clutch. Brand new too. After further diagnosis, It was the clutch arm that attaches to the Transmision rod that had fallen off. Quick and easy fix, I hope, but in the dark it made more sense to tow home and wait for more time and light and tools. What will it be next? The world of zuks may never know....until it happens.  8)

Well, the clutch arm is back on. I put it on once and could only get 1st and 2nd. Took it off, re-adjusted everything and put it back on. This time It worked on all gears. Yeah. I have also been having an ideling problem when I come to a stop it would stall. Sean told me to check if the charcoal canister was clogged by pulling the small vent tube. Bingo, it was running strong again and idelling, well really high. That was due to all the adjusting I had done before. So, I readjusted. Now it is idelling around 1000 -1200 rpms. Yeah, But guess what, while I was readjusting, I saw a squirt out of the corner of my eye. I looked closer and saw a wire moving. Thinking that was what caught my eye, I went back to adjusting the carb. Squirt, now what? I looked at one of the coolant tubes that goes to the Thermo Wax Valve and it was wet. I put a screw driver to the side of it and pushed. A stream of hot coolant spray. Great. Off to Advance to get a new hose. Will it ever end?  8)

Not till you get rid of it, then it will be something else doing it to you. So it a never ending cycle, so it might as well be a Zuk.
