I am by no means a fabricator here in any way but i have a question

Will the back of these shock mounts be plated any?

They are really tall and would seem very weak..  Also has the frame had any extra plating done to it.. I remember reading a while back about a fella who had a ford tower rip up his frame cuz it was so thin??  Again just curious..

There will be  no plating on the back the mount, There will however be a beam going up through fender over the motor down to the othe mount. As far as ripping off the frame... its a welder thing.. It wont be  coming off, It you notice the bracket how it is bent then welded, that right there is 100% better then a straight weld down the frame. It is not always possable but when ever you can can weld to the frame at an angle it is best. straight up and down will weaken and fatigue the metal.

Scott, I sure hope you are right. I ripped a BIG diagonal hole in my frame from the panhard bar mount and Greg ripped off a Ford Shock tower. If it were me I would have plated it first :-\\

I will beterested to see the outcome of that as well.  The panhard bar and shock tower in the same location going to be alot of strain there.  JMO

I am completely aware of the frame thickness, and other peoples exp, with weld failure on the zuk frame. I dont want to come off as arrogant as it sounds but I am very confadent in the way I did it. Its not the first time I have done this.

it's not weld failure, it's material failure

when I took my stock shock mounts off, I used a small prybar at times, and without much force - put dents in the frame (and mine is rust free)

And the reason the material fatigues is generally how it is welded. Too much heat consentration in a certain area can make a very strong weld but weaken the material just outside the burn area. Hence the weld was stitched then over layed.A good practice with thin material is preheat before the welding is started, most people dont do take the time to do it. The area was well prepped before hand, and the most that will happen is the mounts bending. But again I am taking precautions with the tie loop from one mount to the other (Dr side  across motor to pass side)

I think it'll work fine, it is very dependent on how you weld it, I'm not an expert welder by anymeans either  I've done some beatiful welds that don't hold worth poo.  The brace from shock mount to shock mount will help greatly too relieve some of the strain on the frame because it won't be able to move as much.
