i'm not quite understanding this, could you tell me the what and why on it?  maybe a larger pic of where it is would help.

Go up 2 threads to the after pic you will see it there. It is the link connection at the axle. Since the links are all made the same for asthetics there is no slip built into them for articulation. So we made the slip in the bracket. It does not do anything other then allow the arms to look the same. If i did not hav ethe slip built in the axle would bind. The other alternative is not have that connection point at all( 2 different arms side to side) we wanted tme to look like this. So we had to build it in to the bracket instead of a slip joint RR style arm.

why did you score/bend/weld instead of just bending?

Easier to bend accuratley without making jigs to do it in the press. It doesnt take any longer to lay a bead through the .100" score

so that bolt will move back and forth in that hole?  the reasone i asked is(i'm young) and i thought that would enlongate(sp) that hole(like when a bolt is loose and makes a hole egg shaped)

Bingo... The bolt doesnt do anything other then keep the axle from over rotating. Under suspension cycle it will never be an issue
