well maybee this can become a a sticky somehow so you can follow the build if you like. This particular rig was shipped from Florida to us for a host of modifications. I think it will be another step toward bringing our ability to another market of people. Anyway here is the start. we have torn it down to the basics to start adding our touches with a high influence to detail, and a really cool look. Not much yet but in the coming weeks it is going to take on a dramatic change.

The removal of the flares to show this, not bad and easily repaired at the local body shop

Mounted Shrock rear bumper and new flares. The bumper was easy, cutting plastic flares, lets just say I have a few plastic burns.

Pass side

Lightning Conversion HACK JOB to the tunnel

New shrockworks front bumper

Well as you can see the truck has been torn down and gutted right to the firewall. All original wiring has been removed, seats, dash you name it, it all gets replaced.. Some of the additions to go into the rig and pics will come but here is the list.
Corbeau seat, harness, full seat tie in for cage. a cockpit style interior with aluminum dash. Full vdo gauge console,on-board air,Full roll cage with an exo. Fiberglass hood(yes i didn't typo fiberglass hood). Fix all Lightning hack brackets. Install Toy axles, locker, toy t-case, disk brakes. An onslot of switches to operate a complete new PIA headlite and fog system, overhead remote control spot light, solar trickle charger. Well you get the idea, last but not least a full paint job in a madmax style paint and all tubing is powdercoated titanium... stay tuned.

Wow did not know that, that is a lot of working. "In the real world" makes it sound like it is a place far far away. :D

Yes this is true I and Bob still work full time Jobs, I generaly put 50 hrs + in the shop along with the 40 or so at the day job. If you pay attention to when I post you will see it is generally in early A.M. I have had customer call at 12:00 am figuring to leave a message order, guess how suprised they are when i actually answer the phone... usually a long paus with ahhhhhh is this Rock 4x. Yes the sliders are a custom shrock. It allows the user to stand on them while the vehicle is driven, there will be attachment rings on the exo and cage to harness yor self off. The Vehicle project is called Kimera and it is a purpose built Killing Machine to be decked out for hunting Prey. almost forgot it will also get our version of tube doors and rear tube tail gate..
