Well it was a nice day and I was looking for something local to do. I have hiked most of the trails at my local state park ( Morrow Mountain) but have recently spotted a news article online about my county and Needles eye at the state park. Below is the quote from the article

At number three is Needle Nose at Morrow Mountain. “Needle Nose is one of those off the beaten path places you find while hiking,” Lambert said. “The rock is around 80 to 100 feet long and about 30 feet high. This spot got its name because you can walk through the rock to the top. Morrow Mountain holds so many secrets within its gates it would take years to explore them all.”
Well after getting directions from the ranger and a short hike in I found the 30 foot long and 15 ft tall needles eye or needle nose. pics will be up later.
After the disappointment I saw a trail head 2.8 mile long loop the sign read. Easy enough i thought as I started off knowing my hiking boots where in the truck. Well 2.8 miles on a vertical climb is not  easy in work boots weighing in at 4 pounds. Man my feet and legs hurt but here is the view from a crappy phone

Looks like the needle is maxed out by a Will C sized hiker . Seems like it was a nice hike , with a good reward . I was a little dissapointed at the lack of video commentary  ;D
