thought about this on the way to work this morning. i saw a nice dodge pickup w/ the cummins and had all the hop-up engine stuff with stove pipe exhaust, blah, blah blah but behind it was a dodge magnum. got me thinking...... i have always liked the magnum as a car, especially the all wheel drive version, but wouldnt it be awesome if it had a cummins powerplant with big 'ol exhaust coming out the side kind of like the exhaust on the old corvettes. i think that would be one of my top choices if i ever won the lottery.

what is your dream car frankenstien?

I too like the Cummins dually 4x4 like the one we saw at OBX. I thought it was an 18 wheeler from the sound of it before I saw it. But I would have to say I think if I had the $$ I would buy a Viper. Jim

If money was no object it would be the bugatti veyron, but more realistically the Aston Martin DB9 or a viper.

I believe that these are the keywords to this post!!!

In my case it's actually the Zuk, as far as frankensteins go.

I actually love speed and muscle cars. I know I drive one of the slowest vehicles but I have always been a V8 power guy. Jim

I would start like the drive-train, suspension, chassis, and interior of this

And use the shell of this

The handling and power of a Nissan GT-R with the look of a 72 Chevelle SS.

thats murder to do it toa chevelle lol jk. i like the old gaser look of the early impallas from the 60s front end a little high with the engine displacement on the hood. but i want a bad duramax in one. my dad and i are trying to get one for his 46 chevy pickup and i think it would be awsome in a car. or a cummins in an old charger and say this aint no straight six lmao would be awsome

94Zuk,

You're thinking on the lines of something similar to the mustang that was in the Fast And Furious 3. RB26DETT engine and some other Skyline goodies in a Mustang Shell. Very nice I must say!!

Murder? That would be making the best Chevelle on the face of the planet. New technology mixed with classic lines. 400+ HP and it could actually corner. lol

Been awhile since i've seen that movie. Something like that but more GT-R than Chevelle.

Not sure who the dummy is in the video, the guy crashing into a lake or the tard that thinks it's a "lambo dude".

Bugattis are built in France but owned by Germans (VW).

True, for some reason I remembered them being built elsewhere.

In the premises of Château Saint Jean in Molsheim, Alsace, France.

And definitely owned by the VW group!!

I would say the dummy is the guy that says he's going to have it some day and then says it's a lambo!?!?!

Easy a Ford GT.  But realistically a 1918 Packard Presidential. In need or restoring.

You're right. I just didn't pay close enough attention.  Sorry about that.  I just read the title and a few of the post and didn't really pay attention to the frankenstein thing.

The nice thing is that a Suzuki Frankenstein car really exists, and you can build it  yourself, this model is called the Rowfant made by the Scamp motor company, just  have a look at this web site http://www.scampmotorcompany.co.uk/detailm5.html

My dream frankenstein car would be...

A 1967 Chevy cab on a modern chassis, with a cummins and 6-speed manual... with a flat bed. Lowered a little, of course, with larger diameter aluminum wheels... Painted suede black with 1960's Wheel Horse dealer stickers on the doors.

I have changed my mind many times over the last few years regarding my dream car, I think at the present time I would have to say a 1968 Hemi Dart, A factory original with fiberglass front clip and bumpers would be great (big, big bucks) but a clone would work too. There was one featured in Hot Rod Magazine recently with a Lenco transmission set up for the street. Back in the day these things would literaly destroy the pavement and would do serious damage to your ears at full song!

This is getting into the area I like, my favorite would be an early 30's chop top coupe or sedan, with a high torque engine, and flat black paint.  I owned a 1939 Chevy coupe in the early 60's that I installed a 430 cu.in. Mercury Maurader engine that was pretty wild. But the most fun hotrod I owned was a 1951 Ford pickup that I installed a 1959 Lincoln Continental 430 cu.in engine, 375 hp. 490 ft.lbs. torque. That one ate a lot of muscle cars.
