I will guess the answer is NO !
BUT.....

Can a person re-weld the circle mount on the bottom of a shock body ??

I mounted my rear shocks and didn't realize the when I rotated the pinion angle I also tipped the shock mounts which caused the body of the rear shocks to hit the shock mount tab and started to seperate the weld that is holding on the circle mount to the shock body.
These shocks are brand new and I hate to throw them away and buy new...

Everyone that said "don't do it" had never tried it.
I talked to a guy on another forum that explained how he did it.
I gave it a try and it worked... but will it hold ?? I guess I will find out.

Here is how he explained that he did it ...
I bought a set of rancho's from a guy that had rolled his 4 runner and it bent the top eyes on the shock.I cut them off and cleaned everything up nice.Welded the eyes back on them, just weld a lil let cool completely weld alil etc, etc.they worked fine, beat on them for a about 3 years no issues. You can do it,just be smart about it and keep the heat down.Keep the heat on the eye and curl the puddle down to touch the shock body.

I once watched a man walk a tight-rope between to skyscrapers...He made it...I wasn't inspired to try it.

Glad you made it ;)
