Thanks to all of those who participated in the Fall 09 Coloring Contest.

Does anyone have pictures of their prizes?  Somehow we forgot to take any pictures of the stuff we were giving away.  :-[

My family had alot of fun putting this on for the folks at the event.  My wife Holley who is an AVID TOY COLLECTOR took it on as a mission  to come up with some very unique Samurai Specific gifts / prizes.  Some of these are actually motorized working models (think Stompers-for those of you old/young enough to remember them).

We also gave away a few rare out of production (NEW In Box) Samurai Hotwheels some of which were very limited edition.  Most were probally in ripped out of the blister pack and running through the dirt before dinner was over but isn't that what being a kid is all about.

Like this Final Run Samurai ~  "Mike's Little Fire Cracker"

As a toy collector she had lots of fun putting this together.

She also bagged sealed and shelf tagged each item making a ~CUSTOM~ Fall Zuwharrie 2009 Final Fall Event style shelf tag.

On the contest:

Each person who participated got a specially made up SEALED and SHELF TAGGED Treat Bag with miniature candy bars / gum / 4wd cartoon type stickers / and other kids candy type treats.

We got some really great art work that I hope to post here in this thread very soon.

Wifey already has them scanned and converted.

The contest was open to all and surprisingly the Adult class had the most entries.  Judging was much tougher then we could imagine so we let the kids choose the adult class winners.

In an effort to minimize disruption to the other event activities (Dinner / Raffle) which were running very quick and efficient.  We pulled a few random adults aside and had them place their top 3 favorites in order for the Teen  and Children's class.

1st got 3 points
2nd 2 points
3rd 1 point

After 6 different adults made their selections (and the raffle was coming to an end) we quickly tallied up the points and choose our winner.

Hope yall had as much fun as we did!!!!

        Thanks ~  from the Whitfields

Oh Yea, almost forgot,  Winners also received cool flashing Suzuki Key Chains... I'm not even sure where she found those....  ::)

You guys did an AWESOME job.  Thank you so much and special thanks to Holley.  My boys took crayons and a coloring page and we even made a special trip by Arrowhead to get them before going to the dinner... then Paxton left them on the pic-nic table.   ::)  They still enjoyed it just the same as if they would have turned them in.  Participation is the biggest for them and in their minds, they participated.  ;)  We can not thank you guys enough.  :)

All the new coloring pages were made from photos of Zuks I got off of this BBS. If you recognized your Zuk in any of the coloring pages, feel privileged that I chose you. haha It was my sister's idea that the old coloring pages were played out and time that I produced some new ones, and after weeks of procrastination I delivered her that new ones.

Now I'd really be a cool dad if I would print them off for my kids, but my printer ink is running low, so I'm just going to pull them up on the monitor and give them some dry erase markers.

Big thanks to Holley for all her work on this contest, Reese and Carrie enjoyed it and love their prizes! Carrie's winning prize is still bagged so we'll get a picture today for everyone to see what an awesome job Holley did with the prizes and shelf tags.

You should stamp them with somthing identifying the artist.  Work your initials into the design or somthing....

These are cool pictures!

Thanks to the Whitfields for putting this together/on. I'll take some pics of my prize.
