Well, I have my Sammy running well now and I can't wait to get it off road.  The only thing holding me back are dry-rotted tires.  I don't trust them on the highway, much less off-road. So I want a set of tires that are big enough to continue using for a while after I add some lift but small enough to run on my stock sammy.  What sizes should I look at, and what brands do you guys have the best experience with?

I've also been told a YJ suspension is a good start as far as getting a couple inches of lift go, but does this suspension allow for improvement further down the road?  Any online suppliers I could be browse would be a great help.  Thanks!
