is this my kick down??? will it be hard to replace the piece where the throttle and kick down hook up @ the intake? I did a swap with a 16v that was matted to a 5 speed I put in a auto.

Yes, that is the kick down cable. 
I can't remember if the auto and manual throttle assemblies are the same or not (with provisions to hook up the kick down cable on both).  I'll look later, if I remember.

I didn't see a place to hook that to, on my manual 16V throttle assembly.  So the manual and auto throttle assemblies must be different.  You should be able to swap out the whole throttle assembly though.

the wheel that the cables hook too just unbolts with no problem.the only problem i have is finding the right peice
