My '99 Tracker air bag monitor flashes Code DTC B1026, i.e., 26 ( 2 + 6 flashes) indicating a possible problem with the contact coil in the multi-function switch in the steering wheel.  Anybody else had this problem and a fix.  The multi-function switch costs
$250-350!

Thanks

I believe there's something in the steering column called a "clock spring" that will throw that code when it breaks.

I've got a clock spring out of a 96, that I would sell.  If it would work in your 99.
