What springs are you planning on running?  It makes a difference on your choices of what company to buy Missing Links from.

the other popular spring swap is Jeep YJ springs.  They are 2.5" wide, vs. the CJ wich is 2" wide.

I have to agree. I don't think any one out there can come close to the terra flex cj rovolvers, They twist every which way so you don't kill your shackle bushings like standard M/L/s do. They are not cheap. A pair cost about the same as a set of 4 of the other brands. I think they are well worth it though.

SlowMo,
I know the Trail tough Missing links are really stable on-road. have you heard anything about the revolver shackles? I am curious because I want that twistability ;)

My old boss ran them on his 93 wrangler. it was his daily driver. The way they fold up make them as strong as any others for the street I think. I would not have had a problem putting them on my own zook. I never changed because my plan was to go coils next. I still want my next project on coils still  ;D I ran the R.R. M/Ls on my zook. With the pan hard bar. my zook handled almost as good as my honda civic in corners.

I would have gone with them if I knew they didn't unfold during hard braking or steep downhills.

To be honest the TT YJ kit is all I recommend for people staying with leafs and wanting to seriously wheel and Daily Drive a rig. You get lift, ride and stability.

It only takes a weekend, a friend, and some 33 inch tires, to go from stock to a capable wheeler. Two days isn't bad to have a proven performing rig. The res can be done in incremental upgrades.
SloMo,
If and when I do another build I will do a frame off, and do my own link setup as well. I didn't know enough about zooks or suspensions when I built mine. Now that I have the knowledge I am just aching to try a nice long term Coil project.
