started out as a piece of junk old clunker that i saved from going to the scrap yard, the motor actually ran and I drove it onto the trailer(barely). the t case looked like it was full of baby crap and the front lower bearing had exploded in the transmission so I got a good deal(..u think..). Overall it had a good body other than the floorpans i had to cut out and replaced them with a set from a donor sami that was probably in better shape(body wise anyways). put in the 1.6, 6.5 t-case gears and rebuilt everything to new, mini spool, lockrite, custom tcase mounts with leaf spring bushings leftover from the full SPOA yj spring conversion with missing links. It has been a major project that I didn't want to be a MAJOR project, but with almost all said and done, I think it has turned out to be worth it.....at least to me..we will be at zuwharrie along with our sami, come check us out and see the finished project....i don't know how good those leaf spring bushings are gonna work on the tcase but I hope we don't find out that they don't work when im going up daniel or at kodiak...

Really nice TT and build up. That color is sweet too...not for nothing but I liked that green too.  8) Good lock finding a bumper...somebody must have one in stock.

my wife picked out the color, i told her to pick one as long as it wasn't yellow, orange, pink, green, black,....well, you get the picture, she had a limited selection. I'm giving up on the bumper, if I have to wait a month, then so be it, i've tried everywhere, even called the ZOR and talked to the Pres and he said that need material or something and won't have any for a month...oh well i tried tho...it'll be worth the wait.

Well we tried it out at the zu last weekend and it did really good on friday night but after eating saturday night we were on our way to the trails and d*** something came loose in the tcase...not sure what it what yet but it was a lot of popping and jerking and locking in neutral,..u should have seen the metal shavings that came out of it...I believe I'm gonna find a busted cage bearing and not sure what else. I just hope the 6.5 gears are ok
