I did a transmission rebuild and installed the Petroworks hi-po clutch. I have driven samis with the centerforce clutches and didn't like the way the work when you try to modulate them (slip 'em). They are very grabby and seem to be on or off.
I was very hesitant about spending the $$$ on the P'works hi-po clutch because of my limited finances. I bit the bullit and did it anyway.
Here's the results from my wheeling trip to the Fall Zu. I am very impressed with this clutch. Although a little more grabby than stock I was still able to easily slip it to get up some tight spots. It NEVER faded, I could slip it and slip it and as soon as I let the pedal out it locked up and away I went. If you have a diesel, or any stock samurai transmission then I highly recommend this clutch. It is simply the best clutch I have ever had in my 13 years of Samurai ownership! It is deffinately worth the $$$.
