How does it feel being honored along with the past winners?

Before we start the interview, tell us who you are, where you live and a little about your family.

I’m old.  All my kids have run away. I live in Newcastle, NSW Australia .



How long have you had Zuks? Do you think its fair that you can get a lwb on every corner ?
................................
 Since 1975 Lj 50 two stroke, suzuki carry van, Lwb  I have owned it since 2002 .And to answer the lwb on every corner question ... YES!

You run a fundraising event, can you tell us a little about it ?
....................................
I run a trek for Sids and Kids last year we raised $7000,00 for the day .  

What else do you do for fun?
................................................
Learning the bass guitar.


So what makes a Samurai special to you?

It gives me a bit of freedom.



You have a different perspective of Zuks and wheeling, how’s the 4wd scene down under? How does the CF affect your wheeling trips?

The 4wd scene is getting stronger every year, but I can only do easy stuff now.

We know you haven’t made it to any Zu events, any chance we will see you in the future?

No sorry. A few years ago, I would have said yes.  But not now (due to Cystic Fibrosis) 
 

What other 4x4 or zuk events have you attended?

Tough truck, and a few beach clean up days.


 Even though you havent it made it to one ,what about the Zuwharrie event would you like to see changed?

Armor: none

Interior: rollbar

Exterior: nope

Recovery gear: its a zuk lol ! 

Best modification:2in body lift and lockers .

Worst modification: We are restricted to what we can do over here. Unless you have lots of money to get it passed by an engineer at $250.00 a go!
