Our local offroad vendor just started offering a select RC offroad vehicles from Traxas, and I'm thinking of getting one. To me this is the best of the 4. I want an RC that is 4x4, i can use out in the woods, as well as in the snow and want it to be fast as well.

Now I also don't know which is better, gas or electric, but this RC is available and in my means to get. Am I going to regret buying it in a few months cause i should have got gas powered or the faster 75mph?

Electric RC in the snow= electrical problems. Better make sure to completly waterproof all electrics and prepare to do a lot of bearing maintenence.

i have a rustler and love it!!! if you can get the VXL, just go for it now, otherwise later on you'll regret it, i believe they now have the VXL's that are waterproof

I bought it yesterday.

They didn't have the vxl, so i just got the xl5 and got a chance to play with it last night in the basement. and so far love it. It is water proof and upgradeable.

Waiting for the weather to calm down outside to let her rip. ;D
